Getting Started with Ticket4Play
Table of Contents
What is Ticket4Play and how can it help my events?
Ticket4Play is a curated event discovery platform that connects lifestyle event organizers with qualified, interested attendees. We help you:
– Reach targeted audiences actively looking for events
– Build credibility through our vetting process
– Increase event visibility and ticket sales
– Connect with repeat attendees across events
– Reduce marketing costs through our established audience
Who can list events on Ticket4Play?
We work with established event organizers who:
– Have a track record of hosting successful events
– Maintain high standards for safety and professionalism
– Have proper insurance and venue permissions
– Operate with clear consent and boundaries policies
– Receive positive community feedback
– We prioritize quality over quantity and carefully vet all partners.
What types of events can I list?
We feature:
– Lifestyle cruises (chartered ships or group bookings)
– Lifestyle resorts (takeovers or designated dates)
– Hotel parties (single-venue or multi-room events)
– Meet-and-greets (social gatherings)
– Private parties (home parties, venues)
– Travel events (group trips, destination experiences)
– Themed events (special occasion parties)
– All events must be for adults (21+) and follow community standards for consent and safety.
How much does it cost to list events?
We offer two partnership models:
Promoter-Managed Listings (Most Common):
– You create and manage your own event listings
– You provide us with your event information, photos, and booking links
– We approve and feature your listing
– No affiliate commission – you keep 100% of booking revenue
– Optional listing fees for premium placement and promotion
– Best for established organizers who want direct control
Ticket4Play-Managed Listings (Select Events):
– We research, write, and manage the event listing ourselves
– We use our affiliate codes/tracking links
– We earn a commission on bookings (typically 5-15%)
– We handle the listing content and updates
– Reserved for events we personally recommend and feature
– Available by invitation or application for select partners
– Most promoters use the first model where they control their listings and don’t pay us commissions. We reserve affiliate partnerships for specific events we want to personally feature and promote.
Contact us at promoters@ticket4play.com to discuss which option works best for your events.
Do you charge per event or is it an ongoing partnership?
We prefer ongoing partnerships with quality organizers rather than one-off listings. This allows us to:
– Build your brand on our platform
– Develop trust with our audience
– Create consistent promotion strategies
– Offer better rates for regular partners
However, we do consider individual high-quality events on a case-by-case basis.

– Redirects to your registration system
– Completes booking with you directly
– You manage all communication from there
What happens when someone books through Ticket4Play?

– Attendee discovers your event on Ticket4Play
– Clicks through to your booking link or contact information
– Books directly with you using your system

– Books directly with the event organizer
– Organizer receives the booking
– We track the booking through our affiliate code
– Organizer pays us our commission
– You don’t need to do anything – this is our relationship with the organizer
Most promoters fall into the first category – you manage your listings, handle your bookings, and keep all revenue. We only use the affiliate model for select events we personally choose to feature.
What are the payment terms?
For most promoters (self-managed listings):
– No commission payments required
– You keep 100% of booking revenue

– The event organizer pays us directly
– Commission rates typically 5-15% depending on event type
– You don’t handle this unless you’re the organizer of an event we’re featuring
Bottom line: Most event promoters who list on our platform don’t pay us anything. We earn from a select number of events we personally choose to feature and promote as affiliates.
What’s your cancellation policy for listings?
If you need to cancel an event:
– Notify us immediately
– We’ll remove or mark as cancelled
